Netflix is all set to release the much-anticipated sequel, Murder Mystery 2. The film directed and written by James Vanderbilt, with a star-studded
ensemble cast that includes Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston, Tripp Vinson, James D. Stern, James Vanderbilt, Allen Covert, and A.J. Dix as producers.
The story takes place on a private island, where our heroes Nick and Audrey must solve the mystery of their friend’s kidnapping.
After a successful investigation, Nick and Audrey plan to go on vacation, but their plans take a dark
turn when their friend kidnapped on the private island where they’re attending his wedding.
The movie starts with Nick and Audrey crashing their van into a restaurant, and chaos ensues. Adam Sandler reprises his role as Nick Spitz,
a police detective who takes his wife Audrey (Jennifer Aniston) to Europe to rekindle their romance. The teaser shows Sandler in top form, displaying his trademark humor and charm.
The rapport between Aniston and Sandler is one of the film’s most important aspects, and the two actors play off each other with ease.
The secondary cast includes Mark Strong, Jodie Turner-Smith, Mélanie Laurent, and many others.
