The Eliminator of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 between Mumbai Indians and Lucknow Super Giants has taken a sharp turn with Mumbai Indians having tight control in the match following two great consecutive wickets from Akash Madhwal that have pushed Lucknow to the backfoot.

The bowler first bamboozled Badoni with a stunning delivery and rattled the stumps sending the batter back to the dugout. Akash Madhwal did not let the momentum drop as he capitalized on the moment and got the wicket of Nicholas Pooran on the very next delivery as the batter was caught by Ishan Kishan sending the batter back on a golden duck.

Ayush Badoni’s dismissal was a result of his recent poor form and a rash shot. He attempted a wild swing across the line to a skiddy back-of-a-length delivery outside off stump, lacking any real conviction.
The ball went on to disturb the off stump, leaving LSG in a vulnerable position. It’s evident that Badoni succumbed to the mounting pressure and failed to deliver. His wicket to Akash Madhwal only added to the woes of LSG, as they found themselves losing their grip on the game.
