Erica Fernandes is an Indian television actress and model, born on May 7, 1993, in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She completed her schooling
from Holy Cross High School in Kurla, Mumbai, and pursued her graduation in Bachelor of Arts from St. Andrew’s College, Mumbai.
Erica started her career in modeling and participated in beauty pageants like Miss Maharashtra, Miss Pune, and Miss India 2012.
She won the title of ‘Pantaloons Femina Miss Maharashtra’ in 2011 and was one of the top ten finalists of ‘Pantaloons Femina Miss India’ in 2012.
In 2013, Erica made her acting debut in the Kannada film industry with the movie “Ainthu Ainthu Ainthu.” She then appeared in a Tamil
movie “Vizhithiru” in 2017. However, Erica’s breakthrough role came in 2016 when she cast as the female lead in the Hindi television
series “Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi” alongside Shaheer Sheikh. Her portrayal of Dr. Sonakshi Bose earned her widespread recognition and critical acclaim.
After the success of “Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi,” Erica appeared in several other popular TV shows such as “Kasautii Zindagii Kay” and “Mere Angne
Mein.” In 2019, she participated in the ninth season of the reality show “Khatron Ke Khiladi” and emerged as the first runner-up.
Apart from her acting career, Erica has also associated with various social causes. She is an animal lover and often raises awareness about
animal welfare on her social media platforms. She has also supported campaigns related to education and healthcare for the underprivileged.
In 2021, Erica seen in the music video “Juda Kar Diya” alongside Harshad Chopda.
She is currently portraying the lead role of Prerna Sharma in the TV series “Kasautii Zindagii Kay” opposite Parth Samthaan.
